Our Stuttgart facility is home to a team of around of 30 employees, working in development, sales, marketing, production, and logistics – all under one roof.
STENG LICHT products are 'Made in Germany' and sold across the globe – our main markets are Germany, the USA, Australia, the Benelux countries, Scandinavia, and Switzerland.
The majority of STENG LICHT products are our own creations. However, this does not stop us collaborating with designers from around the world. Successful examples include the OPTIMAL range, designed and conceived by Ulirch Reichart from Austria, LUMO, designed by Serge Cornbellissen from Belgium, LIGHTNESS and LUMELNNIUM, designed by Henk Stallinga from the Netherlands or the sucessful cooperation with Stefanie Hering, Berlin. And not forgetting of course SIGN, one of our evergreen products – designed by Franz Weigand from Stuttgart. As with many STENG creations, the SIGN range has remain largely unchanged since its original production in 1988, paying testament to its timeless appeal. In recent decades, our products have been received a host of international design awards.
STENG LICHT is a traditional family-run business. The Steng family are in full ownership of all equity.
